SAP defines five design principles according to which all Fiori apps are developed.
Basic SAP Fiori Design Guidelines exist for the implementation of these design specifications, which developers use as a guide: www.experience.sap.com/fiori-design/
Users are shown only the Fiori apps they need to complete their tasks in Launchpad. In this way, they correspond to their roles in the company. A role-based authorization concept determines which apps can be called up.
The Fiori interface can be accessed on all common browsers and end devices. This means that the applications can be operated with all current devices at any time. The interface remains consistent across all end devices.
Apps are specially adapted for individual tasks that can be completed within three work steps. This makes the apps much easier to use than the complex transactions of the SAP GUI.
The standardized and uniform design makes it easier for you to find your way around and you can familiarize yourself quickly.
The apps offer an inviting look and intuitive usability: Business apps now look and operate like self-explanatory consumer apps.
